Biennale Finale...

Finally the last act of Biennale'08...
Hit it at the last day of the whole event...
Hope to see more the next time round...

South Beach Development

Were greeted to a Teh Tarik experience at the entrance...
Just love the way Biennale turn this old building into an Art gallary...
Its a nostalgic hint at a bygone era...

100 Years Of Solitude
Based on a novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez...
Chronicles a family's struggle over hundred years...
This major artwork recieve quite a fair bit of critics...

Sticker Collection
In this room...
Everywhere you see adhesive stickers on the wall to create a spontaneous visual response...
Shed of stickers also covered the entired floorarea...
Repetition all over...

Swing
Its an empty, neon swing installed in a disused room...
It reminds us of the flow of time and memories in past...
Somehow it symoblises loneliness...
But if you think in another point of view = Creepy...

Address
Its a reminder of things transient as the building itself is earmarking for massive development...
Everyone is living within a box...
Let's reuse+recycle...
Thinking out of the box is never this hard...

Stone to fill the sky
It showcase an oddly shaped steel rock suspending in mid-air...
It arouse wonder...
Mysterious + Surrealistic scene...
As if alien have given us a place of gift...

Drill Hall
Dont really understand this artwork...
But its said to adapt to the space as it present itself and therein lies the wonder of the making...
and the seeing...

Private Moon
How nice if everyone have a moon of their own...
What's the need for lights then...
Everyday how be romantic...
Everyday would be dinner under the moon...

OK!!!
Rnough for all the exhibits...
Till then...
Time to visit the saloon...

And doll yourself up for the Year-ends...
Time for some resolutions to be put in place for next year...
Signing off...
