The New World is what phunk facinate as their very own theme park where escape and education walk hand in hand, and where one is bound only by the limits of one’s imagination...






An imaginery global themed amusement park exploring the inner world of the modern society...

Theme parks are coming up everywhere as the world becomes globalised...

Alot of univeral values and themes are exported, shared and celebrated thru this process...
In a way the modern world is becoming more and more like a giant theme park...




Theme park are designed for entertainment, escape and education...
They are for people of all ages, wealth, class and culture...

Phunk Studio explores deeper into the creation of their own universe to build a globalised theme park of our inner world...

Illustrating a dysfunctional tale of an apocalyptic society where good and evil co-exist...

I love the evil side in life...
Without it, life have lost its interest and adventure...

I rather not live in a world that is just black and white...

Colour adds life in one's life...

Imagine a day stuck at a suburb part of the island...
With stars glazing from up above and tall trees surrounding every corner within sight...
Had an encounter that beats no other...
70% of pasta, 20% of curry puff lookalike and 10% of cream...

Sustainable Water...

On a hot and sunny weekday...
Where sweat is running excessively across the face and every part of the body...
When everything seems too hard to handle...





A little water here and a little cool exhibit there would do the trick...
Living in an island surrounded by water, we somehow take water too lightly...
The water we quench our thirst is never our own...

But how technology have helped us...
Now with our own barrage...
We not just only have our own "New Water" but also a flood free city and a playground for canoeing and kite flying...



And all the Newater to help me with the horrid weather...
I miss the NDP days...

Its all futuristic and dreamy...

A Great Sunday Afternoon...

Up the hill on a hot sunday afternoon...

And i must say its my 1st time on top of dempsey hill on a bright day...
A whole lot different feel...
And the more different feel when you are having not chilling with your friends but your beloved family...



Was giving the frequent dim sum and hi-tea a miss...
And the idea of RED HOT CHILLI CRAB suddenly popped the mind...

All geared up with the cute little apron...




Its never complete with a dessert session at PS cafe...
Lazy sunday is not wasted with chatting and bonding with my loves...

15 Minutes...

Forget Michael Learns To Rock's 25 minutes...

15 minutes is all we need for a great dining experience...

Oh i wasn't talking about gluttoning down the crispy on the outside and tender on the inside fish and chips in one go...

Kinda digesting a sour note in the stomach as i always wanted to study here...

The whole infrastructure and layout just make your studying more conducive...

But no complains, my school days are over...

Now I'm left with the convocation and the outside world waiting...

Its hard not to think of the ferocious world...

But i will brace it...

I truly believe...

Cause every fall will make me stronger...

Life is as fragile as a cup of glass...
Once shattered, you could never get back what you left...

But have anyone thought about how great glass can be...
Its not just a plain transparent piece of material...



A glass collaboration between glass artist Elaine Miles and composer/percussionist Eugene Ughetti changed our perspective in life or in this case glass...
Merging glass installation sound installation in exploration of a common language...

The experience is a meditative interplay between sight, sound, light and movement...
Interconnecting all these brings a new form of life...

The in between of silence brings a new sensation...

The translucent and transparent reflecting and refracting lights from all sources...

Bringing you to a new dimension...

The sounds of different tones aid to your imagination...

Life have been in sleepy mode recently, the night owl have deserted me and went back to the night safari...
Leaving me fully re-charged...
So after M.I.Aing for quite a bit...
Everything have been organised systematically...
With weddings/birthdays/activities/Whatsoever...


Beside that i have inherited a new italian hobby...
A fortnightly/monthly event...
The pasta way!!!




Being a typical singaporean, nothing can keep your eyes off a 1-for-1 promo during this crunching times...

The entrance surprises or should i say almost pull me off...
There wasn't much people in dinner time...
On my mind was " No People = Lousy Food."




But always a braveheart, i did an analyse on all the risk (as if there is one)...
