Stroll...

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same...
Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination...

Took on the journey from Hort park to Henderson wave and back...
Every step on the trail is an experience...
The sudden breeze brushing across...
The sound of cricket always by your side...
Stars glaring at you from up above...

Baby Shower...

Welcome Weisong...

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for"

Beng was saying the experience being in the operating threatre...
And the endless night of crys and all the poo poo...
Nothing beats that...

The ION Fever...

Summary of the week...
Practically sleep my week away...
And its not by choice...
With my head at a scorching 39.5 degrees...
Body aching and enduring series of storm and heat wave...
I basically paralyzed myself in bed...
By far the worst hit sickness to date...

And talking about ION...
Claimed to have 80% new concept shop...
But what i see is the mostly the same brands, just bigger size or flagship...

Chomp Chomp!!!

After enduring days with mostly fig and olives...
It feels like being unleashed from the cage...
So like a starving lion that could eat up anything on sight...

Its time for some hawker love and delicacy...
Being healthy is not an option...

Ended the hearty meal with my all-time favourite giant sugar cane hopefully to drain all the oil off...

Stand and See...

The globe seems to be rotating at ultrasonic speed...
Everyday we struggled in the office clearing tonnes of mails (Most of it are junks) and maybe at times acting busy just to avoid more work...

At the end of the day, nothing seems to be done and the next day its the same old shit again...
Trying to do what you do best...

And like all humans, we constantly moan that 24 hours is never enough...
There seems to be so many things to do...
Yet we never really strive for it...

Come to think of it, did we really make full use of the time...
Even though 40% of the time is spend sleeping...
And another 20% on dreaming (Day & Night)...

I wonder...

Somes its best to slow the pace and just enjoying people and time goes pass you...

When the clock struck 12...
A mini celebration took place...
All at the comfort of home...

Its scary how fast you have grown...
Nevertheless, you are still the little kid in my heart...

Behold The Future...

Is there really fate in this world???
Is our future all pathed out???

I was wondering what's it like to have your future casted out...
Had my 1st tarot reading after Angela was saying the accuracy is like 80% chun...

So this may be my guideline for now...

And some random stuff:

My latest addiction:

Nippon - Disneyland Part III...

When i was in kindergarden and primary, everyday without fail i would rush home after school just to watch the cartoon...

My love for Mickey is beyond words...
So to be able to experience it now is a dream come true...

One is never too old for it...

Disney's 25...
I am not that old afterall...

Immediately after you entered...
The magical world begins, a live band granting you with the old-tunes of disney...
Time and time again the melody of songs like "A whole new world", "M.I.C.K.E.Y" keep buzzing in my ear...

Meetup wit the Mascots...
You can see from the kids face how enthusiastic they were to see them...

The enchanted lands of Fantasy and Adventure, Yesterday and Tomorrow...
It brings an eternal source of joy, laughter, inspiration, and imagination to the peoples of the world....
The magical castle that i wanna stay in...

If you guys are wondering who's my dream girl...
No, not even Megan Fox could de-throne her...
Proudly present to you my snow white...
Beat that!!!

Mickey and Friends starting off the much awaited show stopping parade...
Its the highlight...
Seeing all your favourite cartoon heroes appearing right before your very eye one at a time, with your mouth unable to shut...
Oh Mickey you so fine... You so fine...

"Its a small world afterall, its a small world afterall, in a small small world..."
Everyone was just snatching the merchandise off the shelves...
Its worst than the great singapore sale...
We can't be left out...

Before we know it...
Dust settle upon us...
Ray of sparkling light was cast...
The bling bling took centre stage...
Even with the slight drizzle, it did not dampen the mood at all...
Spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination in thousands of sparkling lights and electrosynthomagnetic musical sounds...

With the parade coming to a close...
You know is time to bid farewell...
Leaving the wonderfull dream behind and bring you straight back to reality...
Even with the unwilling departure, i still left home with a smile...
Dreams are like stars, you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny...

Ending my Japan trip for now...
I sure wanna make a return...
Soon i hope...

Nippon Part II...

So like Harry Potter or Terminator, there's a sequel for this trip...
The visit to the oldest temple in Japan, the Asakusa Kannon temple...

For those who don't know, the Asakusa temple was built based on the story of 2 brothers who fished a statue of the goddess of mercy, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them...

With its history backing, the Asakusa is festive and quaint...
Everyday people comes with a belief...
With a incense on one hand, they wafted it around their bodies...
Showing an act of purification...

The Thunder Gate's the hotspot for all phototaking...
Students were not exempted...
Oh and i love the school uniform there...
Always reminding me of sailormoon...

Being at the temple itself brought a great sense of belief...
And you can see the invisible bonding that brought the people together through it...
There's a overwhelming feeling that is undescribable...
Totally different from the one in Singapore...

The Kaminari Gate is one of the gates of the Sesoji temple...

Its a entrance to the Nakamise shopping streets where you can find the most local food specialites and souvenirs...

The souvenirs: The samurai swords...
I once swored to become a ninja...
But i guess simply just watching Naruto is a easier choice...

I always admire the creativity of the Japs...
Always coming out with out of the world idea and design...
The way the end product is presented brings a value to it...

Then its all eating and shopping at the "Forgot-What-It-Is-Call" street...
The best way to truly understand the culture and people is down on the street...
Its in here when you find the warmth and flavor...

Then to the busy streets...
Immersing myself into the wonderful world...

The Pachinko mania...
Seeing balls rolling down into holes bring totally excitment...

After much walking and playing...
Its always one thing on my mind...
FOOD!!!
Crepes that are just too nice to be inserted into my stomach...

And the very one thing you must try...
Vending machine for drink???
Nah... Its the dopest ramen in Shibuya...

Simply press on all the ingredients available...
And the final product...
Dopey dope...
The meaniest Ichiran ramen...

With a fully satisfied stomach...
We headed to the highend life of the fashion nation...
Fashion is like inculcated into the lifes of the japanese...
Glazing in the district of Shibuya or Harajuku, its easy to spot people having their own identity...

Being a typical Singaporean, there is always a mad rush to grab everything that is available for the burberry blue...
I have witness the auntie scramble for the bags...
The Isetan and Taka is like a rat maze...
Its like 5 times bigger than the one we have...

"Fashion fade, style is eternal"...
This slogan is like tattoo-ed into me...
The Fashionista...

Headed to Shiba Park...
Funny incident was when i approached a group of student for the direction towards the almighty tower, they giggled among themselve and pointed "straight"...
And i was wondering what's the funny part..
After following on the direction assigned...
We stopped after some walk, all just to capture the beauty of the giant...

東京タワー...
At 333m, presenting the tallest self supported steel tower in the world...

Monkey-ed around in the "Believe It, Or Not" exhibition before going to the top of the observatory...
Funny Act 1:
Falling off a cliff...

Funny Act 2:
Escaping from being eaten...

Funny Act 3:
Jack Dawson classic remake...

And the not so real wax museum...

It was perfect timing...
By the time we finished all the exhibits, the sun have set...
At 250m high in the special observatory , no doubt everything could be define as ant-like...
But you could see the colourful vibrant of the city...

Nightz peep...
