Lunar'tic

Invited to Ray's for some really nice home-cooked foodie from her mum, no surprise as his mum previously worked for restaurants... Yum... And we bought along Yusheng for the occasion...
-=-HUAT-=-
MJed and i must say girls sure gossip alot... Hand down to Ching & Chelsea... The 2 definately spice up the mahjong session...

Headed for late-movie " L change the world"... Totally no link from the past sequence and the story was very typical and dry...
No suspense + No Shinigami+ No witty counter moves + Few funny scenes = Skip it please...

Lunar One

1st stop: Aunt's house... Aunt dish out her all-time favourite sticky brown rice and curry chicken for lunch and the maid cooked up afew more nice dishes for us... Cousin was back from Shanghai together with her 2 sons... Actually it was like just the 2nd time i have seen them... Cute and SUPER hyperactive... Greatly resemble how i behave when i was young... but i guess every kid was like that when they were young... who doesn't...

Just a stone throw from town...
Shanghai Knight...

2nd stop: Grandma's place... Always bring me back to Memory lane... Catching spider, hide & seek, soccer, rounders...etc... The list will go forever... Its all so different between Aunt and Granny's place... Granny's place was packed, everyone was just gossiping, chatting and laughing making it more like a marketplace...

Ah Kim's Delicacies

Watched 長江七號 with brother and cousins at Northpoint right after dinner... Its a must watch movie for the new year (Better than Kungfu Dunk and Ah Long)... Funny scenes but yet features down-to-earth story of a poor family... Everyone was Wu-wah'ing on the fascinating and cute creature and the funny expression of the boy who is apparently a girl in real life and expecting it to be a comedy but it turned out to be a drama and almost brought tears to our eye...

CNY is OVER!

This year's CNY is probably the best due to the long weekends... Everyone loves CNY!!!

Angbaos + Gatherings + Gambling + Pineapple Tarts + Ba Kuas
CNY eve

Meetup with Wenxing, Angus & QZ for Carwash... Waited for quite awhile, seems like everyone was carwashing and ready to bring the sparkle onto their cars during new year... Headed town to meet up with Dex for abit of gyming session and back home for REUNION dinner... Steamboating has become part of the family routine for lunar eve (Partly because we hate the crowds and queue in resturants, its overrated) and its the only rare occasion mum will prepare and cook...

Decided to get away from the crowds at Chinatown or Marina, so its a all-boys meetup to watched "Kungfu Dunk" followed by supper At Bukit Timah... Overall the show was So-so with exaggerating moves & weak storyline but the special effect and funny plot set the mood for the new year...

Joined the party crew for more steamboating and we had it at 4am!!! Ktv + Blackjack till 7am... Crazy Shit...

Star Of Bethlehem

Star Of Bethlehme is a modern dance by Extraordinary Winners = childrens who are either abandoned by their parents, from less privileged or poor families or undaunted with limited intelligence/difficulties with their movements...
Yet they did not give up life and together they put up a two-hour impressive modern dance show which encompasses Chinese traditional Wu Shu, ballet, acrobatics and gymnastics taking inspiration from the story of Christ and the Bible...

Went for my Fav Dessert Stall there... By far the BEST Ching Tng i ever tried (till day)... The Cheng Tng here have lots of ingredients, not like those normal ones you find in dessert stalls...
What better way to cool yourself down than a bowl of Cheng Tng...
2 Thumbs + 2 Toes UP!!!

Andy's Wedding

The glow in Andy's face tells it all... its the milestone of his life... Indeed Wedding is the most memorable yet tiring day... Everything happened even before the sun rise and ended till midnight... Its started off with hassling with the sistas and in the end we were treated with Wasabi Chiffon Cake + Ginger Mixed Drink + Chilly Mentos... And we have to burgle in for tea-serving to the families!!!
As the rain settled and the sky cleared, Fort Canning was the ideal place for photoshooting... Definately capped a wonderfully day for the newly wed couple... Bearly had some rest before we head for the dinner venue for some last min preps...
Definately a BLESSFUL Night for the lovely couple!!!
