Nippon Part II...

So like Harry Potter or Terminator, there's a sequel for this trip...
The visit to the oldest temple in Japan, the Asakusa Kannon temple...

For those who don't know, the Asakusa temple was built based on the story of 2 brothers who fished a statue of the goddess of mercy, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them...

With its history backing, the Asakusa is festive and quaint...
Everyday people comes with a belief...
With a incense on one hand, they wafted it around their bodies...
Showing an act of purification...

The Thunder Gate's the hotspot for all phototaking...
Students were not exempted...
Oh and i love the school uniform there...
Always reminding me of sailormoon...

Being at the temple itself brought a great sense of belief...
And you can see the invisible bonding that brought the people together through it...
There's a overwhelming feeling that is undescribable...
Totally different from the one in Singapore...

The Kaminari Gate is one of the gates of the Sesoji temple...

Its a entrance to the Nakamise shopping streets where you can find the most local food specialites and souvenirs...

The souvenirs: The samurai swords...
I once swored to become a ninja...
But i guess simply just watching Naruto is a easier choice...

I always admire the creativity of the Japs...
Always coming out with out of the world idea and design...
The way the end product is presented brings a value to it...

Then its all eating and shopping at the "Forgot-What-It-Is-Call" street...
The best way to truly understand the culture and people is down on the street...
Its in here when you find the warmth and flavor...

Then to the busy streets...
Immersing myself into the wonderful world...

The Pachinko mania...
Seeing balls rolling down into holes bring totally excitment...

After much walking and playing...
Its always one thing on my mind...
FOOD!!!
Crepes that are just too nice to be inserted into my stomach...

And the very one thing you must try...
Vending machine for drink???
Nah... Its the dopest ramen in Shibuya...

Simply press on all the ingredients available...
And the final product...
Dopey dope...
The meaniest Ichiran ramen...

With a fully satisfied stomach...
We headed to the highend life of the fashion nation...
Fashion is like inculcated into the lifes of the japanese...
Glazing in the district of Shibuya or Harajuku, its easy to spot people having their own identity...

Being a typical Singaporean, there is always a mad rush to grab everything that is available for the burberry blue...
I have witness the auntie scramble for the bags...
The Isetan and Taka is like a rat maze...
Its like 5 times bigger than the one we have...

"Fashion fade, style is eternal"...
This slogan is like tattoo-ed into me...
The Fashionista...

Headed to Shiba Park...
Funny incident was when i approached a group of student for the direction towards the almighty tower, they giggled among themselve and pointed "straight"...
And i was wondering what's the funny part..
After following on the direction assigned...
We stopped after some walk, all just to capture the beauty of the giant...

東京タワー...
At 333m, presenting the tallest self supported steel tower in the world...

Monkey-ed around in the "Believe It, Or Not" exhibition before going to the top of the observatory...
Funny Act 1:
Falling off a cliff...

Funny Act 2:
Escaping from being eaten...

Funny Act 3:
Jack Dawson classic remake...

And the not so real wax museum...

It was perfect timing...
By the time we finished all the exhibits, the sun have set...
At 250m high in the special observatory , no doubt everything could be define as ant-like...
But you could see the colourful vibrant of the city...

Nightz peep...
