The Saeco 104434 is equipped with a swing-out filter so you can easily add more grounds. To be honest, I had stumbled across several portable units that would have worked just fine in my space, but I planned on living in my new condo for many years and I didn't feel comfortable about the durability of a portable unit. Many people who have asthma or other lung diseases are adversely affected by too much humidity in the air.
